Coastal Walks

(3km Return). Start at London Bridge car park of the Portsea Ocean Beach car park and return along the beach. Some steps to the lookouts are involved.

(3km Return) The track begins just behind the restaurant at the Sorrento Surf Beach, and proceeds to Jubilee Point. A sandy track which offers great views of the ocean.

In front of the life saving club, the this route has stairs and takes you in front of the hill and up to the lookout. From the lookout you can follow the signs to Sphinx Rock.

(3km Return) Start at the Koonya Beach car park (Huges Rd) and proceed to Diamond Bay. Then take the track to the Bay of Island, before returning via the magnificent views at St Pauls lookout. Many steps decend to Diamond Bay.

(2km Return) This circular walk starts at St Johns Wood Road carpark and overlooks the ruggered bay, huge surf and returns on a coastal bush track.

(8km Return) Start at The Pines picnic ground on Cape Schanck Road and proceed down to Fingal Beach. This walk leads to a lookout over Selwyn's Fault, then decends down many steps to Fingal Beach.

(5km Return) This secluded beach can be reached either via the walking track from Cape Schanck car park or from the carpark on Boneo Road. It is regarded by many as the best short coastal walk in the state.

(1.2 Km Return) Track is accessed from Boneo Road carpark. This walk is over huge bluestone boulders to the ocean.

2.5km Return- From the carpark on the cliff (Hemston Avenue) proceed down the track to the beach. The track leaves at the end of the beach up to the clifftop track to Franklin Road. Return via Franklin Road and the pleasant track along Point Nepean Road. ...
